Casual OOTD

Sunday funday! and for me sometimes that also means relaxing casual wear as well. I love dressing up and doing all the girly stuff but I must admit Sundays I just look forward to lounging and taking it easy.

Quick and easy casual ootd for me this past sunday were black jeggings a simple grey v neck t-shirt and my comfy Tom's. For accessories simple studs, my Michelle watch, my wedding rings and I was good to go to brunch with my hubby and friends.

Hope you enjoyed my casual ootd!

Spring:OOTD

Wanted to share my recent OOTD, I got a couple of compliments so why not post it up and share the details.

Swatch watch $160, AE sweater $34.95, Express Jeans (no longer available), Sam Edelman Beatrix flats(Currently unavailable),

When I think of spring, I think light and breezy. Here in NYC dressing for spring can be a pain in the butt as it can be hot one moment and chilly the next so I try and keep the colors light but manage to stay warm just in case, I won't lie it's not easy planning outfits and preparing for unpredictable weather.

Watch: Swatch watch, LOVE this watch! I have had it for at least 3 years now and I cannot even begin to tell you how many compliments I get on it. I really love the sporty spin it has with the clear casing around the face it is also very light weight and the price on this bad boy is what I call in my books a steal.

Earrings: Miklassy,  it was a lovely gift that was added when I purchased a couple of statement necklaces. I was pretty excited to open my package and even more excited when I saw a pair of earrings that I didn't order included (nice touch) and I would recommend everyone check the website out,  it's super affordable, her jewelry goes quick and so far no complaints with the quality.

Top: American Eagle, I purchased this sweater in Florida and planning to order it in other colors. It's 3/4  quarter sleeve, it's a light knit sweater but has to be worn with a tank underneath and I also went up a size ( I was going for a loose fall off the shoulder fit) .

Jeans: Express, these jeans are 2 years old and my favorite white jeans,  they fit just right and I bring them out every summer, I actually want to re purchase them to have a back up.

Shoes: Sam Edelman, LOVE these flats have had them for 2 years and they are amaze balls. These flats are comfortable, two toned (the toe part has spikes making them look extra chic) and stylish  what more can a girl ask for.

Hope you enjoyed my  Spring OOTD.

Mini Haul: J. Crew (Husband Edition)

My husband and I recently did some online shopping for some spring clothes and I don't know if it's just me but whenever I am looking for clothes I don't find anything (yet when I am not looking I want to buy everything) so needless to say I came up empty handed but my husband on the other hand found 3 items from J. Crew and I love every single item he purchased!

Heathered Cotton Hoodie (blue) is by far my favorite one, I love the lightness of it and even though it's a sweatshirt it is polished enough to look a bit more dressy. The Colorblock Hoodie (Orange and light grey) is more of a fleece therefor on the thicker side for those brisk spring nights, this sweatshirt has the warmth for those cool nights but the pop of color to still say spring, and the last item are these Vans for J.Crew (suede chukka boots) and let me tell you I cannot wait until he wears them!

I will try my luck on finding some spring clothes again soon and hopefully this time have some goodies to tell you about, all items can be purchased on the jcrew website.

AM & PM Routine

My morning and night time routine has been pretty consistent lately and it's because I am really enjoying the products I have been using, so I couldn't go with out sharing my current faves for the AM & PM.

Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer($26), Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream($30), Boscia Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask ($34) Sephora

I start my mornings by washing my face and applying Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer, I am such a huge fan of this cream I have been using it both day and night! it is light weight absorbs quickly, smells heavenly (if you enjoy citrusy smells) and has my face looking SUPER healthy. I follow this up by applying Origins GinZing refreshing eye cream around my eyes obviously and It does  wonders in the morning as it brightens and de-puffs my eyes.  I can say a little goes a long way with the eye cream because it seems as though the small pot it comes in is never ending which I am guessing is a good thing.

At night I usually wash my makeup off and apply the Origins GinZing Moisterizer, but twice a week I have been skipping the moisturizer and applying Boscia's Deep Hydration Sleeping Mask, I started using this product because during the winter my face felt extremely dry and I stumbled upon this mask and decided to give it a try. It goes on smoothly has a light fragrance and leaves my face soft  and hydrated after I rinse it off in the morning, not quite sure I would use it in the summer but definitely nice to have for that extra boost of hydration when needed.

All products can be found at sephora.com

What are some of your favorite AM & PM beauty products?

Banana Republic

This weekend my husband and I had to run a couple of errands and while on our way to Home Goods decided to take a quick detour into Banana Republic and they had a huge sale going on, unfortunately I couldn't spend the time I would have liked to searching for some more goodies but managed to score 4 pairs of earrings.

I was pleasantly surprised with the stud earrings because there was a crowd all over the jewelry section and was thinking there is no way  I would find something I liked, but managed to get my hands on these studs and liked them so much I got them in gold and silver. I love studs and for the most part the only type of earrings I wear on an everyday basis. I can't wait to wear these to work!

I was drawn immediately to these drop earrings because I see them as my go to earrings when I am on vacation this summer. I am going to a destination wedding in late July and decided to give these drop earrings a try plus I couldn't resist the colors!

First Aid Beauty

There has been some buzz around the First Aid Beauty line so I figured why not give it a try, I bought the ultra repair cream and the ultra repair instant oatmeal mask( I love facial masks).

I have to say I am not completely sold on the ultra repair cream, it's good  and it does say it's an all over cream  but I don't see myself applying it to my face (too thick)  I really liked it as a winter body cream, my elbows tend to get a bit dry in the winter and I have tried plenty of creams with not much of a difference and I have to say around the 4th time applying the intensive repair I started to notice a bit of a difference. I am going to wait until I finish it up to see if it's something I repurchase.

On the other hand the ultra repair instant oatmeal mask I really liked, I am a sucker for masks but more so when I feel my face baby soft after, this so far is a product I see myself repurchasing and maybe just maybe one of the permanent fixtures  in my  everyday beauty products.

OPI's Cajun Shrimp

This past weekend it was almost 60 degrees in NYC and to us that can almost be considered summer compared to the terrible winter we had. I decided to open up all the windows in my house to air it out a bit (heat has been on all winter) and with the sun shinning in and fresh air making its way around the house I couldn't help but RUN to the nail salon and welcome spring on my nails!

OPI's Cajun Shrimp

This was the first nail polish that I laid my eyes on when walking into the nail salon and just screamed SPRING is here.

What's your favorite spring nail polish?
